Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This policy explains how kami uses cookies and similar browser storage. It applies to the web and PWA versions. The Android and macOS apps run locally and do not use these cookies.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies (local storage) work the same way. We use them sparingly, as described below.
2. Consent
Non-essential cookies are off by default. When you first open the app, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered, and you can change it any time via the "Cookie preferences" option in the app's settings menu.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie / storage | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Consent preference (Silktide consent manager) | Essential | Remembers your cookie choices. Required for the banner to work; cannot be switched off. |
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) |
Analytics | Set only after you accept analytics. Distinguishes anonymous visitors and sessions to measure usage. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected. |
4. Managing cookies
Use the "Cookie preferences" option in the app to update consent. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though this may reset your preference. Rejecting analytics does not affect how the app works.
5. Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Questions: max.vvase@gmail.com.
