This policy covers kami ("the app") and explains what data it processes and why.

1. Contact

The app is operated by an independent developer. For any privacy question or request, contact admin@maxwase.eu.

2. What we do not collect

The app has no accounts. We do not collect your name, contact details, or precise location, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising or tracking.

3. Device sensors

The app may read device sensors, such as fold angle or motion, to animate the paper. This data is processed only on your device and is never transmitted or stored.

4. Analytics (only with your consent)

Analytics is off until you opt in, and you can withdraw consent at any time in the app's settings. With your consent, the app collects anonymous usage events, error reports, device type, and approximate region derived from your IP address. This data is not linked to your identity and is used only to improve the app. Your consent choice is stored locally on your device.

5. Sharing and security

Analytics data is processed on our behalf by PostHog (EU Cloud), which is contractually bound to protect it at least as well as this policy does. It is not shared with anyone else. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

6. Retention and deletion

Analytics data is kept only as long as needed to improve the app and is then deleted. Withdrawing consent stops all further collection. To request deletion of data already collected, email us; we will act within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Our legal basis for analytics is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and equivalent laws). You may access, delete, or object to processing of your data, and withdraw consent, by using the in-app setting or contacting us.

8. Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes

Changes to this policy will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
